I’ve discovered I’m a Curation blogger

Curation blogging is providing a service in a market where searches can often fall short of content. Hopefully, it is about giving people a carefully researched selection of resources and links, making up an organized blog post.

With so much company downsizing, people are more and more involved in their core work - with little time for personal net surfing - so a well versed content related to their topic of interest can be invaluable.

I read the internet, so that others may not have to and ensure each posting contains the odd snippet of my readers known interests and taste. Of the blogs I read every day, more than half will link me to news articles, websites, or other blog posts on the web. .

Previously bloggers were expected to write original content, but it's no longer a no-no to share things found elsewhere on the Internet. While original content might remain highly valued by many readers, others will read the blog to see what news content surfaces.

Seems to be working for me, with followers slowly building and Re-tweets increasing.

Forgot to add: To keep the old grey cells active in my retirement, this is a labour of love!
